A small collection of photographs from my encounter with the late, great Coach Pete Newell at his home in Rancho Santa Fe, back in 2007 when he was 92 years old. I was Sound Technician on a green screen shoot. The footage was later used in a video that is now playing at the College Basketball Hall of Fame in Kansas City. What really impressed me about Coach Newell was his ability to remember the particulars of games he had been involved with several decades ago. He was a sharp man, very hospitable and charming with a playful sense of humor. I am so glad I had the chance to meet him before his passing.
